Coco, Cambridge Circus, was imported for his hugely successful pedigree, for a reputedly record sum. Laid back, but strong minded, he was not interested in "going in front". He was found to have scope & style over the jumps and won £259 (BSJA) before his career was ended by a rotten floor in his trailer, and was sold on to stand at stud. A true gentleman with his mares, he had infinite patience with maiden and inexperienced 'girls'. Mistaken for a "youngster" at 20 - by a knowledgable horseman, he died of a heart attack at 24.
